Dr. Mélissa Lemire 

For as long as she can remember, Dr. Lemire has wanted to be a dentist. Her childhood dream was realized when she began her dental studies at Laval University in Quebec City. She graduated with a degree in dentistry in 2001 and moved back to her hometown of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec to begin her career. After practising in Quebec for several years, Dr. Lemire relocated to Ottawa, her husband's hometown.

Dr. Lemire is deeply committed to continuing education and keeps apprised of the latest techniques and innovations in dentistry. She is a graduate of the prestigious Dawson Academy. Dr. Lemire is caring and detail-oriented and strives to provide the best quality of treatment to all of her patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Lemire loves discovering new places while travelling with her husband and two sons. She is also a huge sport enthusiast who enjoys running, skiing and surfing. She plans to take up the piano again, after having played for years as a child.

Marie-Noëlle (Dental Hygienist)

Marie-Noëlle was always interested in the dental field since her father practised as a dentist in Hawkesbury, Ontario. She worked for her father throughout her schooling, which gave her a better understanding of the different roles of all the members of the dental team.

Marie-Noëlle has 13 years of experience as a dental hygienist in general practice. Since 2007, she has worked part-time at the dental clinic at La Cité Collégiale in Ottawa. She enjoys working with the students and helping them refine their skills.

Marie-Noëlle has a husband who is attentive and a daughter who is active and playful. They like hiking, visiting friends and playing games as a family.

Sarah (Dental Hygienist)

Sarah graduated from the Canadian National Institute of Health in Ottawa as a dental hygienist in March 2017. She loves her career and is passionate about educating people about the importance of oral health.

Fluent in English, French and Korean, Sarah is a world traveller. She has lived in five countries and has visited over 200 cities. These experiences have taught her how to appreciate, understand and work with people of different cultures. While studying in England, Sarah volunteered to support a woman with progressive spastic paraparesis, a rare disorder that causes weakness and stiffness in the leg muscles.

Sarah loves living in Ottawa—the most beautiful city she has lived in. Maintaining a fit and balanced lifestyle is important to her. She enjoys skating, skiing and hot yoga.

Jennifer (Dental Assistant, CDA II)

Jen was born and raised in Ottawa. She has over 10 years of experience in the dental field, four of which were spent in orthodontics.

Jen is fluent in French and English and loves working with people of all ages. She is caring and always takes time to answer patients' questions and address their concerns.

Jen is married and has two beautiful daughters, with whom she spends the majority of her free time.

Wendy (Treatment Coordinator, CDA II)

Wendy believes the most important part of her job is welcoming patients into the office and making them feel comfortable. She truly loves what she does and looks forward to providing people with the best service every day.

Wendy graduated as a dental assistant in 1990. She has worked in this office for the past 20 years, first as a dental assistant for four years, then as the receptionist for the last 16 years.

Wendy loves spending time with her family. She has a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters. She loves being outdoors, walking the family dog, going to the gym and hanging out with friends.
