Marie-Noelle

Dental Hygienist

Marie-Noëlle was always interested in the dental field since her father practised as a dentist in Hawkesbury, Ontario. She worked for her father throughout her schooling, which gave her a better understanding of the different roles of all the members of the dental team.

Marie-Noëlle has 13 years of experience as a dental hygienist in general practice. Since 2007, she has worked part-time at the dental clinic at La Cité Collégiale in Ottawa. She enjoys working with the students and helping them refine their skills.

Marie-Noëlle has a husband who is attentive and a daughter who is active and playful. They like hiking, visiting friends and playing games as a family.


Jennifer

Dental Assistant, CDA II

Jen was born and raised in Ottawa. She has over 10 years of experience in the dental field, four of which were spent in orthodontics.

Jen is fluent in French and English and loves working with people of all ages. She is caring and always takes time to answer patients' questions and address their concerns.

Jen is married and has two beautiful daughters, with whom she spends the majority of her free time.


Wendy

Treatment Coordinator, CDA II

Wendy believes the most important part of her job is welcoming patients into the office and making them feel comfortable. She truly loves what she does and looks forward to providing people with the best service every day.

Wendy graduated as a dental assistant in 1990. She has worked in this office for the past 20 years, first as a dental assistant for four years, then as the receptionist for the last 16 years.

Wendy loves spending time with her family. She has a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters. She loves being outdoors, walking the family dog, going to the gym and hanging out with friends.


Brenda

Brenda entered the dental field because health is very important to her. She feels that the challenge in dentistry is keeping up with the fast pace of new information in the medical and dental health fields, and she loves to enducate patients regarding their periodontal health as well as their general health. Brenda has worked mainly in periodontics in Ottawa. She also enjoyed working for three years in Washington D.C. in both general and periodontic practices. 

Brenda has been in the dental field since 1995 and has seen first hand how oral health can affect systemic health and vice versa. Her goal is to help patients obtain the best oral health possible and by doing so improve their overall health. Brenda has acquired knowledge on smoking cessation programs, oral cancer screening, caries management by risk assessment (CAMBRA) as well as working in the area of temporal mandibular dysfunction (TMD). Brenda has taught theory dental hygiene program at La Cité and studying part time at University of Québec to obtain her bachelor degree in Adult Education. 

Brenda is the mother of two active children. Her oldest son is a licensed plumber and certified firefighter. Her daughter will start grade 6 and is very busy with her crafting and writing skills. Staying healthy is important to her and her family. She is working on getting certification in sport nutrition and yoga. She enjoys youga, mountain biking, climbing, snow shoeing, and pretty much any activities that take her outside and seek an adventure. 

Brenda is fluent in both French and English.
